The forged valve body is produced by forging processes and features a dense metallographic structure and excellent mechanical properties.
Manufacturing process:
- Forging blanks: High-quality forging billets are used, with strict control of chemical composition and forging temperature to ensure a dense, porosity-free internal structure.
- Machining: CNC machining, precision turning and milling, deep-hole drilling, and multi-axis machining centers are employed to ensure mating dimensions and sealing surface accuracy.
- Heat treatment: Normalizing, quenching and tempering, or annealing is performed according to material requirements to achieve stable mechanical properties.
- Surface treatment: Sandblasting, painting, phosphating, electroplating, or polishing; stainless steel parts can be passivated to enhance corrosion resistance.
Performance features:
- High strength and high toughness with excellent impact and fatigue resistance.
- Excellent sealing reliability, compatible with various valve types (gate valves, globe valves, stop-check valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, etc.).
- Good pressure and temperature resistance, suitable for extreme operating conditions.
- Thin-wall designs can be implemented to reduce weight and save cost while maintaining required strength.
Applications:
Widely used in oil and gas, petrochemical/chemical, power generation, shipbuilding, offshore engineering, water supply and drainage, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, and other heavy industries—especially suitable for projects with high pressure, high temperature, corrosive media, or strict safety requirements.
Specifications and standards:
- Size range: Customizable according to drawings or standards; supports ANSI/ASME, API, DIN, EN, GB and other standard interfaces and dimensions.
- Pressure classes: Customizable from low to high pressure (e.g., 150/300/600/900/1500# or equivalent Class ratings).
- Can be manufactured directly according to the valve model or drawings provided by the customer.
Customization and services:
- Accepts machining to drawing, sample-based customization, and material/heat-treatment recommendations based on service conditions (pressure, temperature, medium).
- Can provide integrated machining of valve body and bonnet, and assembly services including valve stem and seat.
- Both small-batch prototypes and mass production are available; lead time and quantities can be negotiated.
