sand casting mold for high volume foundry output needs

Our sand-casting molds use mature sand-casting processes, high-quality molding sands and binder systems, and are suitable for producing castings from a wide range of metals, including cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloys and copper alloys.

Description

We support everything from single-piece prototype runs to small-to-medium batch production. Molds, core boxes and core-pulling mechanisms can be custom designed from customer drawings or 3D models, balancing accuracy, surface quality and cost-effectiveness.

Highlights of our sand-casting molds:

  1. Multiple sand systems available: green sand (natural clay), resin sand (phenolic, furan), cold-box hardened sand, etc., to meet different flowability and surface finish requirements.
  2. Capable of producing complex cavities and internal cores, with precise control of shrinkage and positioning.
  3. Cavity dimensions as well as core-pulling and locating structures can be designed per customer requirements to reduce downstream machining.
  4. Use of high-strength molding sand and/or rib reinforcement designs to ensure stability during pouring, vibration and transportation.
  5. Provide core verification, trial casting and first-article inspection (including dimensional, visual, chemical composition and mechanical properties testing).
  6. Can coordinate subsequent machining, heat treatment and surface finishing for one-stop delivery.

Applicable scenarios and industries for sand-casting molds:

  1. Automotive engine blocks, cylinder heads, transmission housings and gearbox casings.
  2. Pump bodies, valve bodies and compressor housings.
  3. Construction machinery parts, mining and oilfield equipment components, and construction equipment parts.
  4. Energy-saving equipment, marine components and structural parts, and other parts that must bear large loads or contain complex cavities.
